Emergency Pantry Program

The goal of the SNAP Emergency Pantry Program is to ensure that food and/or personal hygiene items, allocated on an emergency basis provide support to the most at-risk and significantly food-insecure student members. These are members who are unable to support themselves in the coming week with groceries or personal hygiene items.

This program aims to supply a student with 3-5 days’ worth of food and/or personal hygiene items.

Please note, this is not a program meant to support chronic nutritional deficiencies and needs, but to offer temporary relief in extreme circumstances.

Due to limited resources and in order to provide equitable access to all students in need, individuals are eligible to receive food and personal hygiene items once every 30-day period.

Requests can be submitted through the SNAP Emergency Pantry Program Request Form mentioned below, and once scheduled for pick up, the students can collect the items at their designated campus locations.

If you have any questions or concerns, please contact us at csifoodbank@conestogac.on.ca

Please select, and fill out which request form applies to you:

Nutritional Tools & Resources

For students looking to bring their own lunches to campus, CSI will continue to provide and maintain microwaves at each campus so students can heat up their delicious home-cooked meals.

Nutritional Needs Research

CSI will invest a portion of our budget to work with a third-party market research company to collect more robust data on the nutritional needs of our students. This work will include surveys, student consultation, focus groups, and nutritional based prizing for participants. Through these efforts, CSI will work to better tailor our Food Security services to meet the needs of our student membership.

Additional details including program logistics, market dates, and additional ways to get involved with market research will be made available throughout the Fall 2025 semester.
