Every year, CSI students elect a Board of Directors made up of students, for students.

 

Our Board helps represent the student voice, shape the direction of CSI, and ensure the needs and priorities of Conestoga students are part of the decisions we make. Every year we are looking for students like you to run.

 

Whether you’re passionate about your campus, want to advocate for other students, have ideas for improving the student experience, or simply want to get involved — you should be part of the CSI Board of Directors.

What the CSI Board of Directors Do:

REPRESENT - Listen to students and bring their perspectives forward.

CONTRIBUTE - Participate in discussions and decisions about CSI's direction and priorities.

CONNECT - Attend meetings, events, training and opportunities to engage with students and the College community.

GROW - Build experience in governance, advocacy, leadership, decision-making and collaboration.

The students elected to CSI's Board make decisions on behalf of the student membership. During the election, take some time to learn about your candidates, what matters to them and why they want to represent you.

Elections FAQs

  • When are nomination packages due?

    Students interested in running in the election can request a nomination package in February 2027. The completed package must be submitted to the Primary Electoral Officer (PEO) in March 2027.

  • How can I learn about Director candidates?

    CSI will share information online about the candidates during the election period in Winter 2027. Candidate posters will also be posted at all Conestoga campuses during this time, and you can get to know candidates at on-campus booths and on CSI’s Instagram.
