About Us

The purpose of WIHSC is to provide community service students with real life experience in complex situations, such as a car crash in the real-world Police, Paramedics, Nurses and even Firefighters would be working together to save the people in that car. Our club is designed to build relationships with different sectors in the community service field. The club also helps provide students with real life experiences so if they're ever in a similar situation in the future they know what to do. Not only do we provide experiences, we also provide workshops and informative speakers to talk about different issues surrounding first responders, the struggles and the benefits. In closing our club will be run by the students for the students, we hope to provide the best experiences and education for our future community service members so that they can be prepared for anything when the enter the workforce.

This club is currently dormant for Spring 2025 and will be returning Fall 2025.
