The Self-Care Checklist Every Student Needs ✨😌

No one really tells you what it’s like to start college. Sure, they talk about having more freedom and fun with friends, but they rarely mention how much this transition can impact your mental health.

In high school, your daily routine is pretty much predictable. You follow a fixed schedule, and things are laid out for you in each class. College, on the other hand, pushes you to be more independent and responsible. You’re expected to balance your classes, make new friends, cook your meals, and work a job. On top of that, some of us have to make the hard decision of moving away from home for the first time.

All these changes at once can be quite overwhelming. The pressure to figure out so much on your own can leave you feeling stressed, anxious, or even a little lost.  Some days, it feels like your mind won't stop running, and you’ve got so many worries. It’s easy to get caught up and find yourself feeling tired or unmotivated to do what you love.

But remember, you don’t have to go through it all by yourself. These changes are part of growing up and will help you tackle any challenges that come your way in the future.

Now is the perfect time to start building habits that help you feel good about yourself. Here is a self-care checklist to keep close throughout your college journey. Use it whenever you need a reminder to check in with yourself.
