There’s usually a long list of things to remember as the academic term ramps up, and one thing that might get pushed to the bottom of the list is stocking your fridge with healthy fruits and vegetables! Sometimes, an extra trip to the grocery store is the last thing you want to do – especially after a long day of classes and when you’re on a student budget.
Luckily, the Affordable Produce Market is coming back for the Fall 2026 term! 🎉
What is the Affordable Produce Market?
The Affordable Produce Market is a CSI program that allows students to purchase a bag of locally grown produce for just $5.00! It’s an easy and affordable way to get fresh, healthy fruits and vegetables right on campus.
Produce bags are also available for purchase by staff, faculty, and non-student community members for $13.00 per bag.
Bags are pre-packed and contain the same quantity of produce each week.
They’re available only while supplies last, so make sure to grab one when you can!⏰
When and where can I find it?
The Affordable Produce Market takes place on select Wednesdays, with the first Market happening on Wednesday, September 30! 🎉
You’ll be able to find the Market at the following locations:
- 📍 Reuter Campus (near the CSI Service Hub): 9 am – 12:30 pm
- 📍 Waterloo Campus (near the CSI Service Hub): 9 am – 12:30 pm
- 📍 Doon Campus (E-Wing and A-Wing): 11 am – 4:30 pm
- 📍 Cambridge Campus (near the CSI Service Hub): 11 am – 4:30 pm
There are five Markets planned for the Fall term: September 30, October 7, October 21, November 4, and November 18.
