But looking back, I realized I might’ve been worrying about the wrong things. Let me explain.

The good news is, as a full-time Conestoga student, you don’t have to stress! CSI has partnered with Alumo to provide extended health and dental coverage—so you’re supported when you need it most.
This plan can make a real difference, both for your well-being and your wallet. It covers a wide range of services, helping you stay on top of your health throughout the school year.
Here is a quick breakdown of what’s included:
Dental Care
Routine checkups and cleanings are covered. Keep in mind that major procedures may not be included, so it’s a good idea to check your eligibility through the Securian Canada app.
Vision Care
Coverage includes eye exams, diagnostic tests, and prescription glasses or contacts. If you’ve been squinting in class, now’s the time to fix that!
Mental Health
Feeling overwhelmed? You have access to support from psychologists, therapists, and social workers, including counselling sessions when you need them!
Prescription Medication
Through a partnership with Alumo and Rexall, your plan may cover up to 100% of eligible prescription drug costs—so you can skip the out-of-pocket expenses and reimbursement wait times.
Using your plan is quite simple. Just create an account on the Securian Student Health Portal to submit and track claims. You can also set up direct deposit to receive reimbursements faster.
Don’t need the Plan?
If you already have coverage through a parent or spouse or want to add eligible dependents, you can make changes during the change-of-coverage period at the start of each semester.
